He refused to reprise his position as Captain Jack Sparrow within the well-known franchise The Pirates of the Caribbean

Now that he has received a defamation case in opposition to Amber, he has chosen to not settle for the deal provided by Disney.

Now that he’s won a libel suit against Amber, he’s opted out of Disney’s proposed deal.

Reportedly, the actor turned down the job because he was unceremoniously  dropped from the franchise as Disney considered bringing in another  actor to play the role.

Depp was the major lead in five Pirates movies over the past 15 years

During the defamation lawsuit against Amber Heard, Depp had said he had no interest in returning to the franchise

On June 27, a  report claimed that the actor was working on a $301 million deal to  return to the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie franchise, reports  E.online.

However, a representative for the actor told NBC News: "This is made up."

So, As for Now Johnny Depp will not be returning as Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise
